We love stories of people ‘stepping up to the plate’ and raising critically needed funding for EHE research, often taking on significant challenges and raising awareness of EHE at the same time. That is exactly what Lorraine and Louise did in June.
Lorraine’s mother is an EHE patient. Like many EHE patient family members, Lorraine and her daughter Louise wanted to help, and so decided to get walking! They announced that they had started with a simple message
“Hi everyone, Louise and I set off this morning on our 96 mile trek from Milngavie, Glasgow to Fort William. Raising awareness and money for EHE.”
We think this is brilliant ladies. Good luck. We hope that the blisters and weather are both kind to you as you complete your trek. And of course we want to send you a massive thank you.
