EHERCC launches its new website

cancer fundraising events

The EHERCC set up its first website in 2015, designed to provide important information for patients, caregivers, supporters, fundraisers, researchers, clinicians, and all other EHE stakeholders, as Hugh Leonard, Chair of Trustees explained:

That first website was the start of our charity’s engagement with EHE and the public. It did a great job, but in 2023 we realised that it was time to look at creating a new, more modern and dynamic form of website to enhance the experience for those engaging with us. It also gave us a chance to update the content with the latest EHE information and developments across multiple spheres of activity.

The first job was to select an appropriate web designer. We of course looked at several, but ultimately engaged the group that we felt had worked hardest to understand what we wanted, and who from the outset were willing to provide thoughts and ideas but at the same time take on board our suggestions also. Hugh commented:

From the start we found Critical Mission Computing Ltd (CMC), led by Alka Bagga, to be so helpful and also very good. It’s great to work with people who provide excellent advice and guidance but also will listen and incorporate your ideas too. We also found the ongoing review and refinement process that CMC use throughout the website building process to be very efficient, leading to fast delivery of a very high-quality product. We were also delighted to engage CMC as they are a member of the Laptops and Lipstick Business Networking Group for Women, based in south London, who adopted EHERCC as a charity to support in 2021.

We hope that you enjoy the new website. We cannot thank Alka and the whole team at CMC enough for their great work, and for getting the website out on time. Brilliant efforts guys. And if you happen to be thinking about building a website yourself, then we are very happy to recommend the CMC team. Here is the link:
