Members of the newest EHE foundation, ‘Associazione EHE ITALIA – Non Solo Laura ODV’ (EHE Italia) were delighted to participate in the ISG Annual Meeting in Rome in mid-April. Andrei Ivanescu explained:
“Yesterday was the first meeting held between Patient Associations, the Italian Sarcoma Group and representatives of AIFA (Italian Drug Agency). We are happy and honored to have participated in this event. We believe that this represents only the beginning of collaboration and openness to institutions. It is an important step to promote research and treatment of patients with soft tissue sarcomas, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), and bone sarcomas. Through this initiative, we are on the right track to improve the health and well-being of patients.”
