EHE 360 Conference another great success

On 19 April, The EHE Foundation (US) hosted its 4th Annual EHE 360 Global Patient Conference for the global EHE patient community. This virtual meeting featured an international group of expert clinicians, EHE researchers, and global EHE  advocates presenting educational information about EHE presentation, management, and research to patients, caregivers, and other related professionals. More than 300 people from 24 countries registered for this highly anticipated event which sought to broaden our understanding of EHE and deepen the connection among community members.

The conference ended with the ever-popular Ask-the-Experts panel discussion during which participants of the conference were able to post questions for the four experts to answer. This year’s expert panel comprised:

  • Elizabeth Davis, MD,   Vanderbilt University Medical Center;
  • William Tap, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center;
  • Rashmi Chugh, MD, University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center; and
  • Melissa Burgess, MD, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.

Attendees left the conference empowered with knowledge and motivation to participate in research and, more importantly, optimism about the developing landscape of EHE science and research.
